Astronomy history blog

Four hundred years ago the Copernican Revolution shook the world. Copernicus' heliocentric theory ripped through universities and churches to every public house and household. Yet since the end of the eighteen hundreds to the present day, so little of the achievements and discoveries made have filtered to the general public but have passed by largely unnoticed. This blog is an attempt to show how each of these discoveries and achievements has changed our world view.

This blog will start to be active again very soon.
